The headlights utilising durable gas discharge technology
for dipped and high beam ensure intensive illumination
of the road and provide good uniformity and range both
close up and in the distance. The automatic dynamic
headlight range control reduces oncoming traffic from
being dazzled. Homogeneous daytime running light
strip in LED technology with low power consumption;
including headlight cleaning system.
adaptive light
consisting of a dynamic cornering light and static
turning light. The dynamic cornering light identifies
the course of the road from the movement of the
steering wheel and variably illuminates bends by
pivoting the xenon headlights; operational between
speeds of approx. 10 km/h and 110km/h. The static
turning light automatically switches on from a certain
steering angle or if the indicators have been engaged
for a while at a low vehicle speed and illuminates the
new direction in which the vehicle is travelling.
High-beam assist
working within system limits, automatically detects the
headlights of oncoming traffic, the rear lights of other
road users and built-up areas. Depending on the traffic
situation, the high beam is automatically switched on
or off. The system thereby improves the driver’s visibility
and ensures a more relaxed drive thanks to the extra

The automatic kerb-side function tilts the exterior mirror
on the passenger side downwards when reverse gear is
engaged, giving the driver a better view of the kerb.

switched off via the engine start-stop button on the
centre console, the vehicle is unlocked/locked from
outside via sensors on all door handles. The tailgate can
also be opened separately while the vehicle is locked.
