Quick reference guide
Dear Audi Driver,
The aim of this quick reference guide is to introduce you to the main
features and controls of your vehicle.
This quick reference guide cannot replace the information contained
in the Owner's Manual; it is therefore important that you also read
the notes and warnings in the Owner's Manual.
We wish you safe and enjoyable
motoring with your Audi.
AUDI AG
The central locking system locks
and unlocks all the doors, the
tailgate and the tank flap. It can
be operated with the remote
control or by turning the key in
the lock.
Operating the radio-
activated remote control
Press the appropriate button for
about 1 second.

Unlocking button
Open one of the doors or the
boot lid within about 60 sec-
onds, otherwise the vehicle will
lock itself again automatically.

Unlocking button for tailgate
Press the button for at least
1 second.

Locking button
The turn signals flash once
to confirm that the doors and
tailgate/boot lid are properly
closed.

Folding out the master key
Press the release button.
Folding away the master key
Press the button and fold the key
away.
Note:
Press and hold unlocking
button on remote control (or
turn and hold key in lock on
driver’s door) to open all the
windows. Press and hold locking
button on remote control (or
turn and hold key in lock on
driver’s door) to close all the
windows and the sun roof.
Warning:
The doors and win-
dows cannot be opened from
inside the vehicle if it has been
locked from the outside.
Anti-theft alarm
The alarm system is automati-
cally
set when the car is locked.
The alarm system is
switched off
automatically when you unlock
the vehicle with the remote con-
trol.
Note:
If you unlock the vehicle
by inserting the key in the
drivers door, the ignition must
be switched on within 15 sec-
onds, otherwise the alarm will
be triggered. If you unlock the
tailgate by turning the key in the
slot, the alarm will be triggered
immediately.
Locking and unlocking the vehicle
Sun roof

Adjusting seat height and
moving seat backwards or
forwards
Press the switch in the appro-
priate direction:
Raises/lowers the seat at the
front
Raises/lowers the seat at the
rear
Raises/lowers the whole
seat
Moves seat forward/back
Adjusting height of front
seat belts
Slide the guide up or down.
Tug the belt
to check that
the catch is
engaged pro-
perly.
Comfort setting
Turn the control until it engages
at position

To tilt open
Press the control briefly at posi-
tion

to tilt the roof all the way
up. Pull the control briefly to
close.
Press and hold the control to
move the roof up to an inter-
mediate position.
Pull and hold
the control to move the roof
down.
Opening and closing
Turn the control to

open the sun roof and turn it to

to close it (the ignition must
be switched on).

Take hold of the sides of the
head restraint with both hands
and move it up as required.

Press the switch in the appro-
priate direction:
Backrest further upright/
further reclined

Raises/lowers the seat at
the rear

Adjusting lumbar support
Press front or rear of switch to
increase or decrease thickness
of padding in backrest:
Increases/decreases padding

Adjusting seat cushion
Lift seat cushion up and forwards
to extend; push back to shorten.
High-comfort seats

Adjusting lumbar
support (Ergomatic)
Press the appropriate part of
the adjuster control to move
the lumbar support to the
desired position.
