Basic Troubleshooting
If the LED indicator on the power supply is not illuminated:
• Check
to see that the AC power cord is securely connected to the power
supply and
to the AC power outlet.
• Check that the
AC power outlet is supplying power.
Ifthe speakers do
not produce sound:
• Check that the cable from the power supply
is connected to the rear
panel, and
that the LED indicator on the power supply is illuminated.
• Check that the volume/power knob on the rear panel
is not set to mini-
mum volume or powered
off (we recommend at least a 10 o'clock posi-
tion).
• Check that the volume level
of your audio source in not set to minimum
or powered off.
• Check that the wire from your audio source
to your speakers is properly
connected (occasionally the 1/8" cables feel
as if they are inserted all
the way,
but are not).
Ifthe speakers produce sound from the left speaker
but not the right:
• Check
that the speaker wires are correctly connected between the left
and right speaker binding posts.
• Check that the wire from your audio source
to your speakers is properly
connected.
If the sound is distorted:
• Decrease the volume
of the input audio source and increase the volume
of the speakers.
