5 The phone book

50 numbers including a name can be stored in the phone book. The maximum

length for a number is 20 characters.

5.1 Entering numbers and names in the phone book

1. Press the menu button

. The display shows the message PHONE

BOOK.

2. Press the

button again. The display shows the message ADD

ENTRY.

3. Again confirm with the

button. The display shows the message

NAME?.

4. Now enter the associated name (max. 12 letters) using the number pad.

You will find information on how to enter names in the next section.

5. Confirm the name with the menu button

. The display will show the

message NUMBER?.

6. Enter the required telephone number using the number pad.

7. Again confirm with the

button. The display will show the message

MELODY 1 - 5.

8. Now select which melody you wish to assign to this phone number using

the selection buttons

and

9. Again confirm with the

button. The display will again show the

message ADD ENTRY.

10. If you want to enter more numbers, proceed as under Item 3. Exit the

entry mode by holding the

button pressed.
