Setting the telephone
Setting the alert tones (handset only)
Press the menu key.
/ Select HS SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
TONE SETUP and press OK .
/ Select one of the following options and confirm with
OK :
KEY TONE Switch the keytone on or off.
BATTERY LOW Switch the alert tone on or off. The tone sounds if “Low battery” is detected.
RANGE ALARM Switch the alert tone on or off. The tone sounds if “Out of range” is detected.
Setting the display language
Press the menu key.
/ Select SETTINGS (on the desktop telephone) or HS SETTINGS (on the handset) and
press
OK .
/ Select
LANGUAGE and press OK .
/ Select a language and press
OK .
Setting the handset name (handset only)
Press the menu key.
/ Select HS SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
HS NAME and press OK .
Delete the old name with
C , enter a new name using the digit keys and confirm with
OK .
Setting Auto Answer (handset only)
Press the menu key.
/ Select HS SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
AUTO ANSWER and press OK .
/ Select whether the automatic answer function will be on or off and confirm with
OK .
☞ If Auto Answer is on an incoming call will immediately be taken when the handset is taken from
the charging station.
