Turning the answering machine on/off / Selecting the answering mode
Press the menu key.
/ Select TAM and press OK .
/ Select
TAM SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
TAM ON/OFF and press OK .
/ Select
ON or OFF and confirm with OK .
If you have selected
ON :
/ Select
OGM 1 for the “answer and record mode” or OGM 2 for the “answer-only
mode” and press
OK .
On the desktop telephone additionally
Press the TAM on/off key for approx. 2 seconds.
The answering machine will be switched on or off. When it is switched on the mode
will be displayed and voice prompted.
If you want to change the mode press the TAM on/off key briefly, provided the TAM is
already switched on.
Recording outgoing message
Press the menu key.
/ Select TAM and press OK .
/ Select
TAM SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
SET OGM and press OK .
/ Select
OGM 1 for the “answer and record mode” or OGM 2 for the “answer-only
mode” and press
OK .
/ Select
RECORD and press OK . You will be prompted to speak your message.
Speak your message to the microphone and press
OK at the end of the recording.
Playback of your outgoing message will start.
On the desktop telephone additionally
You can easily record an outgoing message for the active answer mode:
Press the
I<< key for approx. 2 seconds. The answering mode is displayed and you
are prompted to speak your outgoing message.
Press the Stop key to stop recording.
Playback outgoing message
Press the menu key.
/ Select TAM and press OK .
/ Select
TAM SETTINGS and press OK .
/ Select
SET OGM and press OK .
/ Select
OGM 1 for the “answer and record mode” or OGM 2 for the “answer-only
mode” and press OK .
/ Select
PLAY and press OK .
Playback of the outgoing message will start.
