15, 35, 60, 100and 250 WATT MODELS
Bogen’s TPU-Series of wall mounted amplifiers are the ideal choice
within the telephone paging industry. With five models to choose
from, ranging in power from 15 watts to 250 watts, each model pro-
vides signal-activated, auto-matic muting of background music dur-
ing a telephone page, and gradual return of music following a page.
•15, 35, 60, 100 and 250 Watt models specially designed for tele-
phone paging systems •3 inputs on TPU250 and TPU-B models: 1
TEL,1 MIC (Lo-Z), 1 AUX (Hi-Z) •2 inputs on TPU15A: 1 TEL, 1 AUX
(Hi-Z) •Sensitivity: 0.3 mV, MIC; -20 dBm,TEL; 85mV, AUX •600-Ohm
balanced TEL input for direct connection to page ports and adapters
•TEL input has Automatic Level Control (ALC) for constant page an-
nouncement level •Separate MIC input for a low-impedance push-to-
talk microphone (TPU-B models only) •Music input– mutable by
external contact closure (TPU-B models only) or activity on TEL input
•Separate volume controls for mic, paging, background music, and
night ringer •Built-in night ringer can be activated from 90V ring sig-
nal (TPU-B and TPU250 models only)or external contact closure
•25V and 70V constant-voltage outputs, balancedand unbalanced;
also 8-Ohm on TPU15A •Wall-mount design provides minimum pro-
trusionfrom backboard •TPU-B models may be rack-mounted usin-
gRPK82 rack mounting kit (sold separately) •TPU250 designed to
rack mount directly, no kit necessary •Easily accessible, recessed
front-panel controls(TPU-B models only) for setting volume,muting,
music, etc. •RCA jacks provided to allow amplifier bridgingto double
the number of amplifier inputs and outputs (TPU-B models only); a
TPU250 can only be bridged with one other TPU250 •Thermal and
electronic overload protection (TPU-B models only), resettable circuit
breaker (except TPU250), Slo-Blo fuse on TPU250.

SINGLE- ZONE UNIVERSAL
TELEPHONE INTERFACE
The UTI1 is a universal telephone interface that
provides single zone paging for one-way applications such
as self-amplified speaker systems. It is compatible with all
standard analog port types and includes 2 audio outputs
with level controls, each of which can provide audio for
150 Bogen self-amplified speakers. A built-in 24DC, 1 Amp power supply is provided for powering
amplified speakers. Two-year warranty.

MULTI-ZONE UNIVERSAL
TELEPHONE INTERFACE
The UTI312 is a multi-zone paging controller with uni-
versal telephone interface. It is expandable from 3 to
12 zones in 3 zone increments using ZX3 expansion
modules. Each zone has its own buffered paging output (15 speaker drive capacity) with volume
control, a C-form relay contact and "zone active" indicator. A built-in 24DC, 1 Amp power supply is
provided for powering amplified speakers. Two-year warranty

PCM2000
The Bogen PCM2000 is a modular telephone paging and control system.
By integrating unique, multi-function modules, the PCM2000 offers both incredible flexibility
and capability for future expansion.
The Bogen PCM2000 Zone Paging System is designed for direct connection to loop start and
ground start trunks, to PBX or KEY paging ports which supply DTMF
capability, and to analog T/R lines. The unit allows total system amplifier
power of up to 250W.
The PCM2000 features: •Simultaneous high & low power paging •Zone and zone group pag-
ing (32 paging groups, each with up to 99 zones) •Built-in talkback amplification (requires
PCMTBM module) •Background music assigned per zone •Local BGM
sourcing capability Night ringer zone group •Emergency zone group with choice of built-in
tones or outside tone source •Emergency all-facility page override •Eight daily time-triggered
signaling events (requires PCMTBM module) •Pattern & echo code
calling •Daily master clock synchronization • Relay driver per zone• Auxiliary contacts
The PCM2000 allows for the design of a system that is specifically tailored to the require-
ments of the facility owner. The basic system supports up to three paging zones and consists
of only three modules:
PCMCPU module includes a set of DIP switches to set the system ID, a Program/
Run switch that allows system programming, a Power jack for 12V DC power, and audio con-
nections for central amplifier; low-power BGM, high-power BGM, emergency/ shift change
trigger, and auxiliary trigger.
PCMTIM telephone interface module incorporates a universal interface so that
connection to any telephone system is rapid and trouble-free. The module connects to the
telephone via a standard RJ11 plug and is programmed simply by using
common DIP switches. All other connections are made to built-in terminal blocks using only a
small screwdriver.
PCMZPM – zone paging module can operate high-power or low-power paging systems (only
one type per PCMZPM module). For high-power paging, a single amplifier can be used for
paging and supplying background music (when not paging). Background music can also be
continuously supplied to all zones not being paged with the addition of a second amplifier. For
low-power operation, background music is always supplied to zones not being paged. Each
module can also be disconnected from the background music bus and connected to a local
background music source.
A talkback module (PCMTBM) can also be added to the system to provide hands-free talkback
capacity. Only one talkback module is required regardless of the number of zones or satellite
systems on the PCM2000 system.
PCMSYS3: 3 ZONE FACTORY ASSEMBLED PCM SYSTEM
3 Zone PCM System is a convenient factory assembled system.It includes . . . . . . . . . .
3 modules (PCMCPU,PCMTIM,PCMZPM).There is no need to assemble and wire . . . . .
the PCM modules together- just mount the unit, program it, and you’re finished.
