3.8 SECRECY BUTTON
The handset microphone can be turned off during a call by using the button. It
is thus possible to speak without the other person hearing you. The loudspeaker
in the handset remains switched on and you can continue to hear the other
person.
Press the
button for one second during a call. The message “MUTED”
appears in the display and the microphone is switched off.
To switch the microphone on again, briefly press the
button once. The
message disappears from the display and you can continue the call as
normal.
3.9 BABY CALL
Using Baby Call, small children, or even senior citizens, can dial a predetermined
telephone number easily. Pressing any button on the handset causes this number
to be dialled.

Press the button as often as necessary until the
message “DIRECT CALL” appears in the display.

Now enter the required number for the Baby Call. e.g. 0 12 34 / 56 78

Baby Call is now activated. By pressing any button on
the handset the number entered will be called directly.

within half a second.

3.10 SETTING UP CALL BARRING
With Call Barring you can protect your telephone against unauthorised use, for
example to save telephone costs. 5 different numbers with a maximum of 5 digits
can be entered for call barring. You can thus block calls to 0190 numbers or the
international dialling code “00” for example.
