3.11 PAGING THE HANDSET
If you cannot remember where you have left the handset, press the button
on the base station. You will hear the handset audible signal for 30 seconds and
thus be easily able to find it again. The display on the handset shows the
message “BASEPAGING”. The audible signals are cancelled using the
button on the handset or the button on the base station.
4. THE PHONE BOOK
4.1 ENTERING NUMBERS IN THE PHONE BOOK
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Display shows:
Enter the required telephone number using the number
keypad.
e.g. 0 1234 456789
Confirm the selection with .

NAME
Now enter the appropriate name using the number
keypad.
e.g. Peter
Confirm the selection with .
ADDRESS:
If not all storage locations have been used, the display
now shows a free memory location between 0 and 19. If
you want to choose a different memory location, you
can also enter a memory location between 00 and 19
directly using the number keypad.
WARNING! You will not receive a warning if the
selected memory location is already occupied.
An occupied memory location is erased
automatically as soon as this location is used for
a new number.
