7.6 CHANGING THE PIN CODE FOR THE HANDSET
Some functions on the handset are protected by a PIN code so that only
authorised persons can switch these functions on or off. The factory setting for
the PIN code is “1 5 9 0“.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Display shows:
Press the button as often as necessary until the
message “H-CHANGE PIN” appears in the display.
H-CHANGE PIN
Confirm the selection with .
PP PIN :
Now enter the handset PIN code
(factory setting 1 5 9 0).

Confirm the selection with .
NEW PIN:
Now enter the new PIN code for the handset. NEW PIN: ****
Confirm the selection with .
RETYPE :
Now enter the new PIN code once more as a
precaution.
RETYPE : ****
Confirm the selection with .
H-CHANGE PIN
You can return to the main menu by holding the
button.

If you want to exit programming, please press the
button twice for one second.

7.7 DISPLAY THE RFPI NUMBER
Each handset has its own RFPI number. This RFPI number is sometimes
required when you wish to log your handset onto a remote base station.

message “SHOW RFPI” appears in the display.

After a few seconds, the telephone automatically
returns to display the main menu.
