7.8 CHANGING THE DISPLAY NAME
In normal operation, the message “MULTI 1” appears in the display. If you have
logged several handsets onto one base station, it can be useful to give each
handset its own name. The number after the name shows which number must be
used to call the handset internally.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Display shows:
Press the button as often as necessary until the
message “USER NAME” appears in the display.

Now enter the required name with a maximum of 10
characters using the number keypad.

The display returns to the main menu and the new
name appears in the display.
