8.4 CHANGING THE BASE STATION PIN CODE

The base station PIN code is required for resetting all base station settings. PIN

code “1 5 9 0” is preset in the factory.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Display shows:

Press the button as often as necessary until the

message “BASE SETTING” appears in the display.

Press the button as often as necessary until the

message “B-CHANGE PIN” appears in the display.

B-CHANGE PIN

Confirm the selection with .

FP PIN :

Now enter the PIN code for the base station (factory

setting 1 5 9 0).

Warning! If the PIN code is entered incorrectly

you will hear several signal tones and you will be

able to repeat the procedure twice more.

Now enter the new PIN code for the base station NEW PIN: ****

Confirm the selection with .

RETYPE :

Now enter the new PIN code once more as a

precaution.

You can return to the main menu by holding the

button.
