3. Use D and E to select EXT RING VOL (volume for external calls) or INT RING VOL (volume for internal
calls/only with two handsets) and confirm by pressing
B.

D and E to select the required volume or switch off the ringing tone and confirm by pressing B.
5. You can now select other menu functions or press
F to exit from the menu.
8.3 Setting the ringing melody on the base station
There are three different ringing melodies available for selection on the base station with which the base station then
rings when a call is received.
1. Press the Menu button

D and E to select the SETUP menu and confirm by pressing B.
3. Use
D and E to select the BASE MELODY function and confirm by pressing B.
4. Use
D and E to select the required melody and confirm by pressing B.
5. You can now select other menu functions or press
F to exit from the menu.
8.4 Setting the ringing tone volume on the base station
The volume of the ringing tone on the base station can be set to one of three levels. If you do not want to be
disturbed, you can switch the ringing tone off completely.
1. Press the Menu button

D and E to select the SETUP menu and confirm by pressing B.

D and E to select the BASE VOLUME function and confirm by pressing B.

D and E to select the required volume or switch off the ringing tone and confirm by pressing B.
5. You can now select other menu functions or press

8.5 Answering calls automatically
Incoming calls can be taken automatically when the handset is removed from the base station. If you only want to
take calls by pressing the
C button, you can deactivate the automatic answering function.
1. Press the Menu button

D and E to select the HANDSET menu and confirm by pressing B.
3. Use
D and E to select the AUTO ANSWER function and confirm by pressing B.
4. Use
D and E to select ON or OFF and confirm by pressing B.
5. You can now select other menu functions or press
F to exit from the menu.
