8.9 Changing the PIN code
Some functions offered by the telephone system are protected against unauthorised use by a PIN code. The PIN
code is comprised of four digits. When delivered, the PIN code is “0000”. Proceed as follows to change the PIN code:
1. Press the Menu button

D and E to select the SETUP menu and confirm by pressing B.
3. Use
D and E to select the PIN CODE function and confirm by pressing B.
4. Enterthecurrentfour-digitPINcodeusingthedigitkeys(defaultsetting0000)andconfirmby
pressing
B.
5. Enter the new, four-digit PIN code using the digit keys and confirm the entry by pressing
B.
6. Enter the new, four-digit PIN code again to confirm the PIN and confirm the entry by pressing
B.
7. You can now select other menu functions or press
F to exit from the menu.
If the old PIN code is not entered correctly, the process is cancelled.
8.10 Setting the display language
The display texts can be set to German, Italian, English, French, Dk/Nor/Sve, Spanish and Dutch.
1. Press the Menu button

2. Use
D and E to select the HANDSET menu and confirm by pressing B.
3. Use
D and E to select the LANGUAGE function and confirm by pressing B.
4. Use
D and E to select the language required and confirm by pressing B.
5. The language is changed after a short time and the display reverts to Standby mode.
8.11 Setting the Recall (flash) time
1. Press the Menu button

2. Use
D and E to select the SETUP menu and confirm by pressing B.
3. Use
D and E to select the RECALL function and confirm by pressing B.
4. Use
D and E to select the flash time RECALL 1 (100ms) or RECALL 2 (300ms) and confirm by
pressing
B.
5. Press the
F button to exit from Entry mode.
