10.2. Switching the button click on or off
Each time a button is pressed, the handset confirms with a button click.
The button click can be switched on or off.
Press the Menu display button
Select Handset Settings with and and press OK.
Select Key Beeps with and and press OK.
Set Beep On/Beep Off with and and press Save.
10.3. Accepting calls automatically
Incoming calls are accepted automatically when you lift the receiver
from the base station. If you only want calls to be accepted by means of
the
button, you can deactivate the automatic acceptance facility.
Press the Menu display button
Select Handset Settings with and and press OK.
Select Auto Talk with and and press OK.
Set Autotalk On or Autotalk Off with and and press Save.
10.4. Changing display names
In normal operation, the message "Handset 1" appears in the display. If
you have logged on several handsets to one base station, it can be
useful to give each handset its own name.
Press the Menu display button.
Select Handset Settings with and and press OK.
Select Name Handset with and and press OK.
Delete the existing name with Clear.
Enter the new name and confirm with Save.
The internal phone number of each handset will be shown after the
display name.
