Press the Menu display button.

Select Base Settings with and and press OK.

Select Call Barring with and and press OK.

Enter SYS PIN (factory setting 0000) and press OK.

Select the required dialling block No. 1 to 4.

Press Option and choose one of the following options with and

- Barring On = Activate call barring.

- Barring Off = Deactivate call barring.

- Edit = Enter new number or change number.

- Clear Prefix = Delete number entered.

10.8. Changing the SYS PIN code

Some functions of the telephone system are protected against

unauthorised use by a PIN code. The PIN code consists of four

numbers. As supplied, the PIN code is set to "0000".

Press the Menu display button

Select Base Settings with and and press OK.

Select System PIN with and and press OK.

Enter the old PIN code and confirm with OK.

Enter the new PIN code and confirm with OK.

Enter the new PIN code once more and again confirm with OK.

10.9. Switching the hold music on and off

When multiple handsets are used and an external call is transferred to

another handset, a piece of hold music is played for the caller while the

call is being connected.

Press the Menu display button

Select Base Settings with and and press OK.

Select Hold Music with and and press OK.

Switch the hold music on or off using and and confirm with

Save.
