10.4 Changing the system PIN code
Some functions of the telephone system are protected against unauthorised use by a
PIN code. The PIN code consists of up to 8 numbers. As supplied, the PIN code is set
to "0000". If the old PIN code is not entered correctly, the process will be aborted.
The old PIN code will first be required for programming (factory setting 0 0 0 0). The
new PIN code must be entered twice under NEW PIN and CONFIRM.
Press the MENU display button, choose SYSTEM by means of the navigation keys
and confirm with OK.
Select CHANGE PIN with the navigation keys and confirm with OK.
Enter the current PIN code (factory setting 0 0 0 0) and confirm with OK.
Now enter the new PIN code and confirm with OK.
Enter the new PIN Code again and confirm with OK.
Press the
button to return to the main display immediately or choose other
items from the menu.
Note: When you assign a new PIN, you must keep this safely.
10.5 Restoring factory settings
The mobile unit and the base station are reset to the factory settings using this function.
The PIN code will be required for programming (factory setting 0 0 0 0).

Press the MENU display button, choose SYSTEM by means of the navigation keys
and confirm with OK.
Select RESET with the navigation keys and confirm with OK.
Enter the current PIN code (factory setting 0 0 0 0) and confirm with OK.
Confirm again with OK and the factory settings will be restored.
