Setting the volume
The volume of the operator guidance can be set to one of 6 levels.
Vi a the base station:
y or z Set the volume
Vi a the handset:
+ or , Set the volume
Setting the number of rings (delay)
You can select from 2 to 8 ringing tones or the Time Saver setting for pre-remote
access free of charge.
The free pre-remote access function enables you to determine whether new
messages have been left on your answering machine.
S If new message have been recorded on your answering machine, your call is
taken after 2 rings.
S If no messages have been recorded, the call is taken after 6 rings. Replace
the receiver before the 6th ring. No charges are accrued.

You can listen-in to the caller without actually taking the call.

Taking a call being recorded
It is possible to take a call even if the answering machine has already begun to
take it. Recording of the message is stopped in this case.
