Verwendung 3 Verwendung des NFS-100 1. Drücken Sie die Taste Í/mem wie gezeigt. 2. Alle Symbole werden beim Start auf dem LCD-Display angezeigt. 3. Wenn verwendungsbereit erscheint das Symbol ( __._ ) auf dem Display und das Thermometer kann benutzt werden. 4. Halten Sie das NFS-100 vorsichtig wie gezeigt. Wenn Sie eine Messung starten, drücken Sie einmal die Messtaste und platzieren Sie die Sonde fest und flach auf der Haut. 5.
Verwendung 6. Sie hören drei Mal pro Sekunde einen piepsenden Ton, zwei Mal ein 'bi' und einen „Piepton“, wenn die Messung beendet ist. Die gesamte Messung dauert 3 Sekunden. 7. Lesen Sie die Temperatur von dem Display ab. 8. Wenn das Bereitschaftsymbol ( __._ ) auf dem LCD-Display angezeigt wird, kann eine neue Messung vorgenommen werden. 9. Das Gerät schaltet nach einer Minute ohne Benutzung automatisch ab. Hinweis • Wenn es Schweiß auf der Stirn gibt, ermitteln Sie die Temperatur hinter dem Ohrläppchen.
Verwendung kann die Messung der Temperatur hinter dem Ohrläppchen bei einer wegen Schwitzen sinkenden Hauttemperatur zu genaueren Ergebnissen führen. Warnung Viele Menschen haben keine erhöhte Temperatur, auch wenn sie krank sind. Konsultieren Sie in den folgenden Fällen vor der Verwendung des Produkts einen Arzt. • Säuglinge, die weniger als 30 Tage alt sind. • Menschen, die mit Steroiden, Antibiotika oder Antipyretika behandelt werden. • Menschen mit einem geschädigten Immunsystem.

Batterie ersetzen Dieses Produkt verfügt bei Lieferung über eine Lithiumbatterie.

General Information • Follow the cleaning instructions as described in this manual. • Do not use this product if it is not working properly. • To change the battery and to clean the device, follow the instructions in this manual. • If this product is not used regularly, remove the battery to prevent chemical leakage. If the battery leaks, never expose bare skin to the leaked fluid and remove the battery carefully. • Dispose of used batteries properly. • Examine the product regularly.
General Information • It can be difficult to take an infant’s temperature because they are usually wrapped up in blankets or clothes. Push aside any clothing or blankets covering the neck area for 30 seconds or so and repeat the measurement. If you feel that the temperature behind the ear lobe is too low, or if there is no perspiration, compare the reading with the forehead temperature reading at least once. • Sweating causes extra cooling of the skin, which results in an incorrectly low reading.

How to use 3 How to use NFS-100 1. Press Í/mem button as illustrated. 2. All symbols are displayed on the LCD screen when starting up. 3. When ready, the symbol ( __._ ) appears on the display and the thermometer is ready to use. 4. Gently hold the NFS-100 as illustrated. When starting a measurement, press the measure button once and firmly place the probe flat on the skin. 5. Slowly slide the probe from the middle of the forehead to the hairline, keeping the instrument flat and in contact with skin.
How to use 6. You will hear beeping sounds three times per second, a 'bi' sound twice and a "beep" sound when the measurement is finished. The total measurement takes 3 seconds. 7. Read the temperature on the display. 8. A new measurement can be taken after the ready symbol ( __._ ) is displayed on the LCD screen. 9. Automatically shuts off after one minute of non-use. NOTE • If there is perspiration on the forehead, take the temperature from behind the ear lobe. In this case, disregard point number 5.
How to use Warning Many people may not have an elevated temperature even if they are ill. For the following cases, consult with a medical doctor before using this product. • Babies who are under 90 days old. • People on steroids, antibiotics or antipyretics. • People with compromised immune systems. Caution • If a child moves while taking its temperature, it will result in an inaccurate measurement because the probe may have lost contact with the skin. Calm them down and try to take the measurement again.
How to use • When measuring liquids, such as water or milk, place the probe as close to the liquid surface as possible (do not immerse it in liquid). Memory feature NFS-100 stores a total of 8 readings. The most recently measured data is automatically stored. To review stored temperatures: Pressing Í/mem will show MEM 1 Pressing Í/mem again will show MEM2 Pressing Í/mem third time will show MEM3 Unstored data cannot be displayed. Pressing Í/mem for 5 seconds deletes the memory.
How to use Mode change (°C / °F) Press Í/mem button and press the measurement button for 2 seconds. Battery replacement This product contains one lithium battery when shipped. When the low battery indicator ( ) is displayed on the LCD screen, replace the battery using the following steps: Press on the lock using a sharp object and open the cover in the direction of the arrow. Insert the new battery with the "+" mark visible. Close the battery cover. Recycle the used battery to prevent pollution.
How to use Cleaning and storing • • • • • • • The sensor on the front of the probe is extremely sensitive. For accurate measurements, always keep it clean and protect it from damage. • Place the sensor facing downwards to prevent any liquid from dropping on the sensor. Carefully clean the sensor using a cotton bud dipped in alcohol. After cleaning, allow at least one hour drying time before taking any measurement.

Utilisation 3 Utilisation du NFS-100 1. Appuyez sur la touche Í/mem comme indiqué. 2. Tous les symboles s’affichent sur l’écran au démarrage. 3. Utilisation Avertissement De nombreuses personnes n’ont pas de température élevée, même quand elles sont malades. Avant d’utiliser le produit, consultez un médecin dans les cas suivants. • les nouveau-nés de moins de 30 jours. • les personnes traitées avec des stéroïdes, des antibiotiques ou des antipyrétiques. • les personnes dont le système immunitaire est altéré.
Utilisation • La température entre la partie droite et la partie gauche du front peut être différente. Mesurez la température du même côté. • Les mesures peuvent être inexactes si la décharge de la pile s’affiche ( ). Changer la pile et mesurez à nouveau la température. • Si vous mesurez la température de liquides comme de l’eau ou du lait, tenez la sonde aussi près que possible de la surface du liquide (ne pas la plonger dans le liquide).
Utilisation Changement de mode (°C / °F) Appuyez sur la touche Í/mem et maintenez-la appuyée et appuyez simultanément sur la touche de mesure pendant 2 secondes. Changement de la pile Ce produit est livré avec une pile lithium. Si la pile est indiquée comme déchargée ( ) sur l’écran LCD, changez celle-ci comme suit : Appuyez sur la fermeture avec un objet pointu et ouvrez le couvercle dans le sens de la flèche. Insérez une pile neuve de telle sorte que le marquage « + » soit visible.
Utilisation Nettoyage et conservation • • • • • • • Le capteur situé à la pointe de la sonde est extrêmement sensible. Pour obtenir des mesures exactes, gardez ce capteur toujours propre et protégez-le contre tout endommagement. • Tenez le capteur vers le bas, afin d’empêcher que des liquides ne gouttent sur lui. Nettoyez le capteur avec précaution avec un coton-tige plongé dans l’alcool. Après le nettoyage, respectez une durée de séchage d’au moins une heure avant d’effectuer des mesures.

Indicazioni generali • Se vi è presenza di sudore sulla fronte, rilevare la temperatura dietro al lobo auricolare. Prima di tutto, spostare tutti i capelli di lato per lasciare libera l’area e attendere circa 30 secondi prima di eseguire la misurazione (vedi proced. misurazione). • Può essere difficile rilevare la temperatura di un bambino piccolo, poiché di solito sono coperti da copertine o abiti.

Uso 3 Uso del modello NFS-100 1. Premere il tasto Í/mem come indicato. 2. All’avvio compariranno tutti i simboli sul display LCD. 3. Non appena pronto all’uso appare sul display il simbolo ( __._ ) e il termometro può essere utilizzato. 4. Tenere l'NFS-100 con cura, come indicato. Qualora si avvii una misurazione, premere una volta il tasto di misurazione e posizionare la sonda con decisione e in modo che sia piatta sulla pelle. 5.
Uso 6. Tre volte al secondo si sente un bip, due volte un ‘bi’ e un “bip” una volta terminata la misurazione. L’intera misurazione dura 3 secondi. 7. Rilevare la temperatura dal display. 8. Una volta comparso sul display il segnale di stand-by ( __._ ) si può eseguire una nuova misurazione. 9. L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo un minuto senza utilizzo. Avvertenza • Se vi è presenza di sudore sulla fronte, rilevare la temperatura dietro al lobo auricolare. Ignorare in tal caso il punto 5.
Uso Avvertenza Molte persone non hanno febbre anche se malate. Nei seguenti casi, consultare un medico prima di utilizzare il prodotto. • Lattanti di meno di 30 giorni. • Soggetti trattati con steroidi, antibiotici o antipiretici. • Soggetti con sistema immunitario danneggiato. Attenzione • Se un bambino si muove durante la misurazione della temperatura, i risultati che ne derivano possono essere inesatti, poiché la sonda può perdere il contatto con la pelle.
Uso appare il simbolo di batteria scarica ( ). Sostituire la batteria ed eseguire nuovamente la misurazione. • Se si misura la temperatura di liquidi come acqua o latte, tenere la sonda il più vicino possibile alla superficie del liquido (non immergerla nel liquido). Funzione memoria L’NFS-100 memorizza complessivamente 8 valori di misurazione. Gli ultimi dati misurati vengono automaticamente salvati.
Uso Cambio modalità (°C / °F) Premere e mantenere premuto il tasto Í/mem e premere contestualmente il tasto di misurazione per 2 secondi. Sostituzione batterie Questo prodotto dispone alla consegna di una batteria al litio. Se sul display LCD appare il simbolo di batteria scarica ( ), sostituire la batteria come di seguito indicato: Premere sulla chiusura con un oggetto appuntito e aprire il coperchio in direzione della freccia. Inserire la nuova batteria in modo che il segno “+” sia visibile.
Uso Pulizia e conservazione • • • • • • • Il sensore che si trova sulla punta della sonda è estremamente sensibile. Per ottenere delle misurazioni precise, mantenerlo sempre pulito e proteggerlo da eventuali danneggiamenti. • Tenere il sensore rivolto verso il basso in modo da impedire che dei liquidi possano gocciolargli sopra. Pulire accuratamente il sensore con un bastoncino d’ovatta precedentemente intinto in alcol.

R: Controllare l’oggetto misurato prima della misurazione (gli oggetti molto caldi non possono essere misurati). M: L’oggetto misurato ha una temperatura inferiore a 20 °C.
Allegato M: Viene segnalato lo spegnimento per batteria scarica. R: Sostituire la batteria. Misurazioni imprecise M: Dopo il bagno o il rientro a casa. R: Concedersi del tempo per rilassarsi. M: I valori di misurazione differiscono fra loro.
