Measurement principles

According to clinical studies, a blood temperature measure-

ment taken from a major artery reflects the most accurate

body temperature. This Infrared Forehead Thermometer is

designed to measure the blood temperature from the skin’s

surface above the temporal artery, one of the head’s major

arteries.

The NFS-100 is easier and gentler to use than existing types

of thermometer such as rectal, oral, underarm and ear ther-

mometers, thanks to its non-invasive usage method. In order

to obtain a more accurate measurement, it uses an advanced

SOLE algorithm that captures the infrared heat that is emitted

from the skin over the temporal artery, taking 24 readings per

second for 3 seconds.

The NFS-100 ensures a faster, easier and safer measurement

with a degree of clinical accuracy and several user-friendly

functions.
