Armpit 34.7 ~ 37.3 ºC

Mouth 35.5 ~ 37.5 ºC

Rectum 36.6 ~ 38.0 ºC

Normal temperature according to age

0 ~ 2 years 36.4 ~ 38.0 ºC

3 ~ 10 years 36.1 ~ 37.8 ºC

11 ~ 65 years 35.9 ~ 37.6 ºC

Above 65 years 35.8 ~ 37.5 ºC

• As the normal temperature range is different according to

each person, it is recommended to first calculate a per-

son’s healthy body temperature.

• A forehead reading is normally 1 ºC higher than an ear rea-

ding.
