11.6 Setting the volume
If the volume of the answering machine is too high or low when playing back messages or liste-
ning−in to incoming calls, it can be adjusted to one of 10 levels.

11.7 Setting the weekday and time on the answering machine
The weekday and time a message was received is announced when any message is played
back. The time setting of the answering machine is automatically set via the handset . Page 14.

Proceed as follows to access the answering machine’s OGM Setting menu for outgoing messa-
ges:

11.8.1 Selecting the answering mode
The answering machine is provided with two, pre−recorded outgoing messages. A distinction is
made between outgoing message with message recording (OGM 1) and outgoing message
without message recording (OGM 2). If no other outgoing message is recorded, the pre−recor-
ded outgoing message is played automatically. When the answering machine memory is full, it
automatically reverts to the outgoing message without message recording (OGM 2) message ex-
plaining to the caller that messages cannot be left.
Proceed as follows to change the answering mode:
Using the base station:
2 sec # Activate Setting mode
Activate OGM 1 (with recording)
or
Activate OGM 2 (without recording)
The outgoing message currently selected is played and set.
