- Inbetriebnahme 3 Inbetriebnahme 3.1 Verpackungsinhalt prüfen Zum Lieferumfang gehören: Zwei Funkgeräte mit Ladestation mit Steckernetzteil Gürtelclip eine Bedienungsanleitung Jeweils drei Frontschalen in verschiedenen Farben pro Funkgerät zwei Akkupacks zwei Headsets 3.2 Akkupacks einsetzen Ihre Funkgeräte wurden mit zwei wiederaufladbaren Ni-MH Akkupacks geliefert, die vor der Inbetriebnahme eingebaut werden müssen. 1.
- Inbetriebnahme 3.3 Ladestation anschliessen Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzteils in die Buchse an der Ladestation und das Steckernetzteil in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteckdose mit 230V. Verwenden Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil. 3.4 Funkgeräte laden Die wiederaufladbaren Akkupacks der beiden Funkgeräte besitzen bei voller Ladung eine durchschnittliche Betriebszeit von bis zu 10 Stunden.
- Inbetriebnahme 3.6 Frontschalen auswechseln Ihre Funkgeräte wurden mit jeweils drei farbigen Frontschalen ausgeliefert, die Sie bei Bedarf auswechseln können. Um eine Frontschale auszuwechseln, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Frontschale entfernen 1. Hebeln Sie vorsichtig mit einem Schraubenzieher die Frontschale am Punkt 1 aus der Befestigung. 2. Danach können Sie die gesamte Frontschale ganz einfach von dem Funkgerät lösen. Frontschale befestigen 1.
- Bedienung 4 4.1 Bedienung Ein-/Ausschalten der Funkgeräte Um ein Funkgerät einzuschalten, halten Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste bis zu einem Signalton gedrückt. Bei eingeschaltetem Funkgerät, blinkt die Kontrollleuchte. Zum Ausschalten des Funkgerätes wieder die einem Signalton gedrückt halten. 4.2 Ein/Aus-Taste bis zu Lautstärkeregelung Die Lautstärke des eingebauten Lautsprechers kann mit den Tasten + in 16 Lautstärkestufen eingestellt werden. Die eingestellte und Lautstärke wird im Display angezeigt. 4.
- Bedienung 4.4.1 Ändern des Rufcodes (CTCSS) Normalerweise werden alle Gespräche auf dem gewählten Kanal an allen Funkgeräten signalisiert, die sich im Empfangsbereich befinden. Somit hören Sie eventuell auch Gespräche, die nicht für Sie bestimmt sind, wenn in der Nähe andere Personen Funkgeräte auf demselben Kanal verwenden. Um dies zu vermeiden, kann ein Rufcode festgelegt werden. Insgesamt stehen 38 dieser Codes zur Verfügung. Im Display wird dieser Code hinter dem Kanal angezeigt.
- Bedienung 4.6 Gespräche zwischen den Funkgeräten Um selbst zu sprechen, drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste . Halten Sie das Gerät ca. 5 cm vom Mund entfernt und sprechen Sie in normaler Lautstärke. Lassen Sie danach die Gesprächstaste wieder los. Ihr Gesprächspartner hört einen Signalton (Roger Beep), wenn Sie die Gesprächstaste losgelassen haben. Damit wird dem anderen Teilnehmer angezeigt, dass Sie mit dem Sprechen fertig sind und auf eine Antwort warten.
- Bedienung 4.7 Anrufsignal senden Mit dem Anrufsignal können Sie Ihren Gesprächspartner auffordern zu sprechen. Drücken Sie einmal die Ruftaste . An dem gerufenen Gerät erklingen Signaltöne. Denken Sie daran, dass das Rufsignal an allen Funkgeräten erklingt, die sich im Empfangsbereich auf demselben Kanal und Rufcode befinden. Warten Sie nun bis der Gesprächspartner sich meldet. Anrufsignal einstellen Das Funkgerät verfügt über 10 unterschiedliche Ruftöne. 1. Drücken Sie dreimal die Taste MENU .
- Bedienung 4.9 Der VOX-Modus Im VOX-Modus beginnt das Funkgerät automatisch zu senden, sobald Ihre Stimme oder ein anderes Geräusch erkannt wird. Die Gesprächstaste braucht nicht gedrückt zu werden. Der VOX-Modus kann mit den Funkgeräten selbst oder den mitgelieferten Headsets verwendet werden. 4.9.1 VOX-Modus ohne Headset verwenden Schalten Sie das Funkgerät bei gedrückter Gesprächstaste ein. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige VOX und der VOX-Modus ist eingeschaltet.
- Bedienung Sprechen Sie nun normal in das Mikrofon am Headset. Sobald die eingestellte Empfindlichkeit erreicht wird, beginnt das Funkgerät automatisch zu senden. Um den VOX-Modus auszuschalten, drücken Sie einmal die Gesprächstaste . Das Headset bleibt in Betrieb, aber es muss zum Sprechen die Gesprächstaste gedrückt werden. Hinweise: Es wird immer für 2 Sekunden gesendet, auch wenn Sie kürzer als 2 Sekunden sprechen. Es entsteht eine kleine Verzögerung, bevor das Funkgerät mit dem Senden beginnt. 4.9.
- Bedienung 4.10 Tastensperre ein-/ausschalten Halten Sie die Taste erscheint die Anzeige MENU + MENU für drei Sekunden gedrückt. Im Display . Bei eingeschalteter Tastensperre sind die Tasten , und gesperrt. Um die Tastensperre wieder auszuschalten, halten Sie wieder die Taste MENU für drei Sekunden gedrückt. 4.11 Reichweite der Funkgeräte Die Funkgeräte haben im Freien eine Reichweite von bis zu 3 km. Diese maximale Reichweite kann durch bestimmte Umstände verringert werden.
- Bedienung Hinweise: Ist ein Rufcode zwischen 1 und 38 eingestellt, wird nur auf den 8 Kanälen mit dem gewählten Rufcode gesucht. Bei dem Rufcode 0 werden alle 8 Kanäle und die möglichen Kombinationen mit den 38 Rufcodes abgesucht. Möchten Sie einen Kanal komplett aus der Suche entfernen, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor. Sobald der Kanal innerhalb der Kanalsuche gefunden + oder für drei Sekunden gedrückt. Sie wird, halten Sie die Taste hören einen Signalton und die Kanalsuche wird fortgesetzt.

Wenn innerhalb von einer bestimmten Zeit keine Übertragungen vorkommen, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Die Zeit kann auf 30, 60 oder 90 Minuten eingestellt werden. Do not throw battery packs/batteries into the fire or immerse in water.

- Setting up 3 Setting up 3.1 Check contents of pack The following items are supplied: two radios with belt clip charging station with plug-in power supply one instruction manual three front covers for each radio in different colours two battery packs two headsets 3.2 Fitting the battery packs Your radio is supplied with two rechargeable Ni-MH battery packs, which must be fitted before using the equipment. 1. To release the belt clip, push the upper tab outwards and slide the belt clip upwards (see 3.5).
- Setting up 3.3 Connecting the charging station Insert the plug of the power supply into the socket on the charging station and plug the power supply into a properly installed 230 V mains socket. For safety reasons, use only the plug-in mains power supply provided. 3.4 Charging the radios The rechargeable battery packs for the two radios have an average operating time of up to 10 hours when fully charged. The current battery pack or battery capacity is shown in the display.

- Operation 4.4.1 Changing the call code (CTCSS) Normally, all calls on the selected channel are sent to all radios that are in receiving range. You may therefore also hear calls that are not intended for you when other people are using radios on the same channel in the vicinity. In order to prevent this, it is possible to define a call code. In total, there are 38 of these codes available. This code is shown in the display after the channel. Check between yourselves which code has been selected. 1. 2.
- Operation 4.6 Calls between radios To speak yourself, press the talk button . Hold the unit about 5 cm from your mouth and speak in a normal voice. When you have finished, release the talk button. The person you are speaking to will hear a signal tone (Roger beep) when you have released the talk button. This will indicate to the other subscriber that you have finished speaking and are waiting for a reply.
- Operation 4.7 Sending a call signal You can summon the attention of the person you are calling by means of the call signal. Press the call button once. A signal tone will sound on the unit called. Remember that call signals will sound on all radios that are within receiving range and are switched to the same channel and call code. Now wait until the person called answers.
