Note: The selected channel and the call code must

correspond for you to be able to talk to one another.

3.5 Calling another subscriber

When you want to talk to other subscribers, proceed as

follows: The two radios must be switched on and set to the

same channel and to the same call code.

Press the small button once. A ringing tone will sound on

the called unit. Now wait until the person called answers. To

speak yourself, press the talk button. Hold the unit about 5

cm from your mouth and speak in a normal voice. When you

have finished, release the talk button. The person you are

speaking to will hear a brief noise when you release the call

button. This will indicate to the other party that you have

finished speaking and are waiting for a reply.

However, in spite of this, we recommend that you finish your

message with the word "End" so that the person you are

calling knows exactly when he can reply.
