Automatic answering
If the Auto Answer" function has been activated, a call is taken automati-
cally on removing the handset from the base or charging station.

Alarm clock
The Alarm clock" function can be used so that you are woken up by the
handset at a specific time.  Page 45
Baby call (direct dialling)
The Baby Call" function enables a specific phone number to be pro-
grammed which can then dialled automatically by pressing any button
(except the ) button).  Page 45
Headset connection port
The handset has a connection port, suitable for a 2.5 mm stereo jack, on
the right−hand side with which to connect earphones / a headset.
There is no guarantee the headset will function properly.
Dialling mode
The telephone can be operated in analogue exchanges (PULSE) as well
as new, digital exchanges (TONE/DTMF).  Page 45
Temporary tone dialling
If you only operate the telephone using the PULSE dialling mode, you can
still make use of the advantages of the TONE dialling mode (e.g.: for re-
mote access of the answering machine in the conventional telephone
network). During a call, you can temporarily switch to Tone dialling.
 Press the button during the call
When the call is ended, the equipment automatically switches back to
Pulse dialling.
