8 Setting the telephone
Date/Time
Menu Press Menu.
▲/▼ Select Basic settings and press OK.
▲/▼ Select Set date/time and press OK.
Enter the date using the digit keys and press OK.
▲/▼ Select the desired date format (dd/mm = day/month or mm/dd = month/day) and press OK.
Enter the time using the digit keys and press OK.
▲/▼ Select the desired time format (12 Hours or 24 Hours) and press OK.
☞ In case of mains failure this setting will be deleted when simultaneously the handset will be switched off or the
batteries will be empty.
Alarm
Menu Press Menu.
▲/▼ Select Alarm and press OK.
▲/▼ Select one of the following options and confirm with OK:
Off The alarm function is turned off.
On once Enter the alarm time using the digit keys and press OK. The alarm signal is given
once at the specified time.
On daily Enter the alarm time using the digit keys and press OK. The alarm signal is repea-
ted daily at the specified time.
Setting the tones for the handset (ringer/attention tones)
Menu Press Menu.
▲/▼ Select Basic settings and press OK.
▲/▼ Select Handset tones and press OK.
▲/▼ Select one of the following options and confirm with OK:
Ring volume Select the volume for the ringer.
Ring melody Select a melody for incoming calls.
Key beep Switch the keytone on or off.
Parking tone Switch on or off the beep for the handset being replaced back to the base charger
cradle.
