5.2 Outputs 'Digital Audio'

9 Digital output DATA LINK

The digital audio output DATA LINK is only for connecting the

ART G2 to an Audionet pre amplifier with a DATA LINK input, e.g.

Audionet MAP 1. The digital output signal depends on the setting of

option Set Digital Output Mode (refer to sections 'Digital out-

put format' on page 14 and 'Set Digital Output Mode' on page 55).

10 Digital output OUT 1 (SPDIF)

The digital audio signal is available at the output OUT 1 in the

SPDIF format depending on the setting of option Set Digital

Output Mode (refer to sections 'Digital output format' on page 14

and 'Set Digital Output Mode' on page 55).

11 Digital output OUT 2 (SPDIF)

The digital audio signal is available at the output OUT 2 in the

SPDIF format depending on the setting of option Set Digital

Output Mode (refer to sections 'Digital output format' on page 14

and 'Set Digital Output Mode' on page 55).

12 Digital output OUT 3 (AES/EBU)

The digital audio signal is available at the output OUT 3 in the

AES/EBU format depending on the setting of option Set Digital

Output Mode (refer to sections 'Digital output format' on page 14

and 'Set Digital Output Mode' on page 55).

15 Digital output OUT 4 (optical/TOSLink)

Use an optical (TOSLink) cable to connect the optical digital output

OUT 4 of the ART G2 to any unit with an optical digital input. The

output signal depends on the setting of option Set Digital Out-

put Mode (refer to sections 'Digital output format' on page 14 and

'Set Digital Output Mode' on page 55).

16 USB/SPDIF digital audio input

Digital audio input to connect a computer to the ART G2 for play-

back of music and sound files using the sophisticated D/A-converters

of the ART G2. The ART G2 is recognized as 'USB Audio Device'
