Connecting the radio
Plug the AC POWER CORD (19) into the power outlet. When electrical power has been interrupted
and restored, the clock display will blink. Make sure to reset both the correct time and alarm time for
proper operation.
Battery backup
This clock has a backup power system to ensure continuous operation during power failure. Open the
BATTERY COMPARTMENT (18) on the rear and insert one 9-VOLT battery as indicated in the
compartment and the clock mechanism will continue to maintain the current time and alarm
program.
Time setting
Press and hold the TIME button (5). Press the MINUTE button (4) or HOUR button (13) to set the
clock display to the correct time. Release the TIME button (5) when finished the setting.
Radio operation
Slide the ON / OFF / AUTO button (7) to “ON”. Adjust the TUNING knob (8) and the VOLUME / BUZZ
knob (9) for the desired station and listening level.
