OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS INTRODUCTION The SPS/Audiovox CD Changer system installed in your vehicle has been designed to operate using the controls of the factory radio. In general, the operation of the CD Changer will be as per the instructions for the audio equipment included with your vehicle Owner’s Manual. However, there are a few differences as described herein, so please refer to this booklet for questions you may have on the system operation.
DISC SELECT ( DISCS ) Press the Disc Select button to select the desired disc for play as indicated on the display panel. The unit will load the selected disc and begin play. To advance to a higher number disc, press the side of the button.To return to a lower number, press the side. SHUFFLE PLAY When the Shuffle button is pressed, the indication “SHF” will momentarily appear on the display panel and the tracks on the disc will be played in a random, shuffled order.
ERROR CODES If a problem should develop while operating the CD Changer, the following error codes may appear on the display panel of the radio: NO CD: Indicates that there is no magazine in the changer or no discs in the magazine. Load discs into the magazine and insert the magazine into the changer as per the instructions in the Owner’s Manual of the changer. NO DJ: Indicates that the CD Changer is not connected to or is not being recognized by the radio.
