OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1 2 ON/OFF POWER BUTTON Press this button to turn the unit on or off. VOLUME / LEVEL CONTROL To increase the volume level, press the “VOL ” button. The volume will increase and the level will be shown on the display panel from a minimum of “VOL 00” to a maximum of “VOL 51”. To increase the volume quickly, keep the button pressed. To decrease the volume level, press the “VOL ” button. Keep the button pressed to decrease the volume quickly.
3 2 6 LEFT/RIGHT BALANCE CONTROL To adjust the left-right speaker balance, first select the Balance mode by pressing the Select button so that the “BAL” indication appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the Balance mode, press the or button of the Level Control to adjust the balance as desired. The balance position will be shown on the display panel from “BAL.L 15” (full left) through “BAL.R 15” (full right).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Tuning function. The radio will seek the next available station and stop at that frequency. The Seek function can be stopped by pressing the button again or activating any other tuning function. Pressing and holding either button for longer than 0.5 seconds will cause the radio to continue tuning rapidly in the selected direction until the button is released at which point it will seek to the next available station.
cl REPEAT PLAY SELECTOR (RPT) During disc play, press this button to repeat the play of the selected track (“RPT” will appear on the display panel). Play of the track will continue to repeat until the button is pressed again and the “RPT” indication disappears from the display panel. Repeat Play mode will also be cancelled by activating the or Track Scan functions.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS / SETTING THE CLOCK NOTES ON USE OF FRONT PANEL 1. Make sure the front panel is right-side-up when attaching it to the chassis as it cannot be attached when up-side down. DETACHING THE FRONT PANEL 2. Do not press very hard on the front panel when attaching it to the chassis. No more than light to moderate pressure should be needed. 3. When attaching the front panel, make sure the right side is correctly engaged before pressing the left side to lock it into position. 4.
If a problem should develop while operating the CD player, the following error codes may be displayed on the LCD panel. ER-1: Indicates a mechanism error or that the disc is not loading or ejecting properly. Try reloading or pressing the Eject button again. ER-2: Indicates an error in the microprocessor control of the CD player. Eject the disc, make sure it is clean, undamaged, and loaded correctly (label side up). Re-load the disc and check for on the proper operation or try another disc.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE CARE AND MAINTENANCE The radio section of your new sound system does not require any maintenance. We recommend that you keep this manual for reference on the many features found in this unit as well as how to set the clock. MODE D'EMPLOI MODE D'EMPLOI 1 TOUCHE D’ALIMENTATION Appuyer sur cette touche pour allumer ou éteindre l’appareil. 2 RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME Pour augmenter le volume, appuyer sur la touche “Vol ”. L’augmentation de volume apparaît sur l’afficheur dans une plage allant de “VOL 00” minimum à un maximum de “VOL 51”. Pour obtenir une augmentation rapide du volume, maintenir la touche enfoncée. RÉGLAGE DES GRAVES Pour régler le niveau des graves, choisir d’abord ce jusqu’à mode en appuyant sur la touche de sélection ce que l’indication “BAS” apparaisse sur l’afficheur. En moins de 5 secondes après avoir choisi le mode graves, appuyer sur les touches ou du réglage du volume afin de régler le niveau de graves désiré. Le niveau de graves apparaîtra sur l’afficheur sur une échelle s’étendant d’un minimum de -7 à un maximum de +7 (0 étant une réponse non altérée).
MODE D'EMPLOI sur la touche appropriée jusqu’à ce que le poste désiré soit syntonisé. La fonction de syntonisation par repérage automatique est activée en appuyant sur l’une des deux touches pendant au moins 0,5 seconde et en la relâchant ensuite. SÉLECTEUR PAUSE/LECTURE ( / ) SÉLECTEUR DE MODE CD La lecture d’un disque peut être interrompue temporairement en appuyant sur cette touche (l’indication se met à clignoter et l’indication “PAUS” apparaît sur l’afficheur). Appuyer à nouveau sur la touche pour reprendre la lecture à l’endroit même où elle a été interrompue. Le mode pause peut aussi être annulé en activant une autre fonction liée au disque compact.

S’il se présente un problème de fonctionnement du lecteur de disques compacts, il se peut qu’un code d’erreur apparaisse sur l’afficheur (ACL). ER-1 : Indique une erreur mécanique ou encore que le chargement ou l’éjection du disque nes’est pas effectué correctement. ER-2 : Indique une erreur dans la commande du microprocesseur du lecteur de CD. Éjecter le disque, s’assurer qu’il est propre, qu’il n’est pas endommagé et qu’il est chargé correctement (la face portant l’étiquette vers le haut).

bt FUNCIONES INDICADORA/REVISORA Se puede realizar una búsqueda audible de alta velocidad en cualquier sección del disco mediante la función indicadora y revisora. Apriete y mantenga apretado el botón indicador (+) para avanzar rápidamente hacia adelante o el botón revisor (-) para avanzar rápidamente hacia atrás. Durante cualquiera de las dos funciones, el tiempo transcurrido en cada pista aparecerá indicado automáticamente en el panel de visualización.

ANTIRROBO Ubicado en el chasis detrás del panel delantero, un diodo emisor de luz (L.E.D. son las siglas en inglés) destellará intermitentemente cuando se quite el panel. La luz intermitente servirá como advertencia visual a un probable ladrón de que la unidad fue desactivada al desmontar el panel delantero.
Si se presentara algún problema durante el funcionamiento del reproductor de CD, es probable que aparezcan los siguientes códigos de error en el panel de visualización. ER-1: Indica un error de mecanismo o que el disco no se está cargando o eyectando bien. Intente volver a cargarlo o vuelva a oprimir el botón de eyección.
