INSTALliNG BATTERIES
.Install two RO3 (AM or UM-4) size batteries into the battery compartment
of the Remote Control.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL CORRECTLY
.Point the Remote Control at the REMOTE CONTROL sensor located next to
the CD Display. Press the button required.
.When there is a strong ambient light source, the performance of the infrared
REMOTE CONTROL sensor may be degraded, causing unreliable opera-
tion.
.The recommended effective distance for remote operation is about 6 meters.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
.When batteries become weak, the operating distance of the Remote Con-
trol is greatly reduced and you will need to replace the batteries.
NOTE
.If the Remote Control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the
batteries to prevent possible damage through battery leakage.
.Do not mix different types of batteries, or old batteries with new ones.
