Tools required: Voltmeter
Problem: All directions of sofa are non-functional.
Troubleshooting: Measure for 11.0 - 14.5 volts between pin 1 and 3 of the three-pin
connector. If no voltage is measured, check fuses at fuse block or check for bad wiring.
If voltage is present, measure voltage at pin 2 of three-pin connector. The voltage
should be approximately 12 volts with no switch closure. When the switch is closed, the
voltage should drop to 3 - 6 volts in one direction of the switch and 0.5 to 3 volts in the
other direction. If voltage doesn’t drop when the switch is closed, check switch and
switch wiring.
If the relays are heard clicking on when the switch is closed, check motors or bad
wiring to motors. If necessary replace, Auto-Net 230.
Problem: Motor stops before end of travel.
Troubleshooting: Adjust the setting of the current level to accommodate surges or
frame binding. It is not recommended to exceed the 75% limit of the adjustment. If this
is necessary, it is advisable to check motors and frame for drag.
