* Note
Headboard and backer are loose at this point and will fall if not supported.
13. Remove 4 screws from bottom edge of faceplate backer.
14. Push top of faceplate toward front of van, allow to sit on storage and VCP boxes.
15. Pull rearward on headboard while tilting downward and remove.
Headliner
1. Lower sofa to the flat position.
2. Remove center beam (refer to procedure).
3. Remove headboard (refer to headboard removal procedure).
4. Remove valances (refer to procedure).
5. Remove Sport Top Wall (Refer to Upper Sport Top Wall removal procedure).
6. Remove rear box (refer to procedure).
7. Remove retaining screws remaining in headliner at center.
8. Slide headliner forward to clear rear roof, lower rear section, slide out through rear
cargo doors.
Panel, Speaker, Rear
1. Remove rear storage cabinets in passenger sidewall, if equipped.
2. Using razor knife cut fabric along door edge, pull fabric loose to expose screws.
3. Remove screws.
Rear Box
1. Remove and disconnect speakers.
2. Remove 2 screws from rear storage box frame.
3. Remove 2 screws from storage box, push in box and allow to sit on rear roof.
4. Remove screws from each rear window valance wood trim.
5. Remove 3” retainer screws from inside of clothes hanger (1 at each end).
6. Remove screws from L brackets connecting box to roof.
7. Push forward and lower.
8. Remove box out through rear cargo doors.
Seat Belt, Center and Rear
1. Remove screws from valance wood trim, pull out and disconnect plug in connector.
2. Remove valance.
3. Remove wall.
4. Remove plastic seat belt insert from wall.
5. Remove 2 nuts from seat belt retainer
* (Critical items ensure when reinstalling seat belt that these 2 nuts are
torqued to 6 to 8 foot lbs.).
6. Pull back seat belt boot located on floor which will expose seat belt anchor bolt,
remove
* (Critical items ensure when reinstalling seat belt anchor bolt that it is
torqued to 22 to 28 foot lbs.).
