A. Introduction Thank you for choosing the D1500B portable DVD player. The main features include a 5" Screen (4:3 aspect ratio) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitor and a DVD player. The unit applies the latest state of the art electronics and is designed for use in hotels, offices, vehicles or your home. The unit is constructed to provide years of reliable, trouble-free service, and is compact so that you can take it with you anywhere and is designed for quick and easy installation.

G. Setup Press ‘SETUP’ to display the Main screen of the Setup Menu on the screen. Press ‘SETUP’ again to exit the Setup Menu and the unit will resume it’s last playback mode. Main Setup Menu Screen 1) Press “SETUP”, the ‘Language Setup Page’ will be displayed on the screen. a). Press ENTER and select ‘Disc Menu’ using the UP/DOWN button, and then press RIGHT to enter the submenu. Select the desired Menu Language using UP/DOWN, and press ENTER to confirm the setting. Press LEFT to return.
b).Select ‘Audio’ using the UP/DOWN button, and then press the RIGHT button to enter the submenu. Choose the Audio Language you desire using the UP/DOWN button and then press ENTER to confirm the setting. Press the LEFT button to return. 4). Press the left button to return to the main menu. Select ‘Screen Setup’ using the UP / DOWN button, then press ENTER to enter the screen setup page. a. Select ‘TV Display’ using the UP/DOWN button, then press RIGHT to enter the submenu. Select the desired display ratio using the UP/DOWN button, then press ENTER to confirm the setting. Press LEFT to return. TV Display Screen Display * 4:3 PS (Normal/PS): When the player is connected to a normal TV, and a wide picture is shown on the full screen.

Select ‘Parental’ using the UP/DOWN button, then press RIGHT to enter the submenu. Parental Control Screen Display Select the parental level you desire using the UP/DOWN button for discs with lock-out function or multiple rating levels. These are listed from the lowest level (1 Kid Safe) to the highest level (8 Adult).
c. Select ‘Default’ using the UP/DOWN button, then press RIGHT to enter the submenu. Press ENTER to make all of the settings return to the factory preset mode. NOTE: The parental setting is not affected by the default reset function. Default Screen Display NOTE: The Default Password is 3308. This password is always effective even after you have selected your own password and changed it.

I. Menu A DVD is divided into sections called titles and chapters. When you play a DVD, a root menu of the disc will appear on the screen of your TV or Monitor. The contents of the menu vary from disc to disc. Press MENU during playback to display the menu. Some DVDs only allow you to select disc playback options using the DVD root menu. J. Display 1. PLAYING TIME AND REMAINING TIME a.

Press ‘DISPLAY’ a fifth time to exit, ‘Display Off’ will be displayed and will disappear automatically in 3 seconds.
2. SUBTITLE During disc playback press ‘SUBTITLE’ to select the subtitle language you desire*, with the current Subtitle Language Number (1) and the total Number of Subtitle Languages (2) displayed. If there are multiple languages press ‘SUBTITLE’ again to select another subtitle language. To turn subtitles OFF, press the ‘SUBTITLE’ button until ‘Subtitle Off’ is displayed. The Subtitle display will disappear automatically if the ‘SUBTITLE’ button is not pressed again within 3 seconds.
3. AUDIO During playback press ‘AUDIO’ to select the audio language you desire*, with the current Audio Channel Number (1) and the total number of Audio Channels (2) displayed. Press AUDIO again to select another audio language. The audio display will disappear automatically if the ‘AUDIO’ button is not pressed within for 3 seconds. 5. A-B REPEAT a. During playback press ‘A-B’ once to set the Starting Point A. A-B Repeat Starting Point Screen Display b. Press ‘A-B’ a second time to set the Ending Point B and the player will repeatedly play the part between Point A and Point B. A-B Repeat Ending Point Screen Display c. Press ‘A-B’ a third time to cancel A-B repeat and resume normal playback.
6. 1/ALL REPEAT a. During playback press ‘1/ALL REPEAT’ once to repeatedly play the current chapter. Chapter Repeat Screen Display b. During playback press ‘1/ALL REPEAT’ again to repeatedly play the current title. Title Repeat Screen Display c. During playback press ‘1/ALL REPEAT’ a third time to repeat whole disc.
d. Press ‘1/ALL REPEAT’ a fourth time, to cancel the repeat function and resume normal playback. Repeat Off Screen Display K. Playing Audio CDs When playing an audio CD the track and playback time information will automatically be displayed. Pressing the display button will change the displayed information. The options below show you what information is available using this function. a. The current track and playing time of that track will be displayed on the screen. Single Elapsed Screen Display b.
c. Press ‘DISPLAY’ a second time and Total Remain appears along with the current track playing and the total time left. Total Remain Screen Display d. Press ‘DISPLAY’ a third time and Display Off appears. The disc information will no longer be displayed. Display Off Screen Display USING THE REPEAT FEATURE The default mode for the Repeat feature is OFF. Pressing REPEAT consecutively changes the repeat options: • Track- repeats the track that is playing. • Disc- repeats the disc that is playing.
L. Playing MP3 Discs MP3 is a format for storing digital audio. An audio CD-quality song is compressed into the MP3 format with very little loss of audio quality while taking up much less disc space. CD-R /RW discs that have been encoded in MP3 format are compatible with this system. Insert a MP3 CD, the DVD player will initialize the disc and the directory (folder) will be displayed. MP3 MENU Screen Display When an MP3 disc is inserted into the unit, the menu screen appears and playback will begin.
Use the ( NEXT ) button to move to the next song. Press the (PREVIOUS) button to move to the beginning of the previous song. USING THE REPEAT FEATURE The default mode for the Repeat feature is OFF. Pressing REPEAT consecutively changes the repeat options: • Repeat One • Repeat Folder • Repeat Off As you toggle through the options, the repeat option changes. The selected repeat option loops repeatedly until you turn it off.
M. Playing JPG file 1) Load the JPG Disc into the tray and JPEG playback starts automatically. 2) To select individual JPEGs press the menu button to display folders and a list of the JPEGs contained within. 3) To select a folder highlight the desired folder on the left side and press “ENTER“. The JPEGS contained in the folder will be listed on the right side. Highlight the desired JPEG and press “ENTER“. 4) The unit will then play the JPEGs in order. To continually view a JPEG, press the “PAUSE“ button.
N. Connecting to a TV or another monitor ( Refer to Figure 4) You can also connect the DVD player to a TV to enjoy high quality stereo sound and picture on another monitor as follows: Connect one end of the audio/video cable’s black (1/8” plug) plug into the unit’s AV Out jack, and connect the other end to the AUDIO INPUT jacks on your TV or Monitor (white = left channel, red = right channel). Connect the yellow plug to the VIDEO INPUT jack on your TV or Monitor.

Installing the Battery Pack: 1. First, make sure the player is in “Stop” mode and that the AC power supply has been disconnected. 2. Close the player cover. 3. Align the battery pack with the player module’s front edge. 4. Push the battery towards the rear of the player until it locks into position. The lock position is indicated by a click.
