Prior to Installation: Care must be taken when installing this accessory to ensure damage does not occur to the vehicle. The installation of this accessory should follow approved guidelines to ensure a quality installation. Read entire instructions thoroughly before starting. This document covers such items as:• Vehicle Protection (use of covers and blankets, cleaning chemicals, etc.). • Vehicle Disassembly/Reassembly (panel removal, part storage, etc.).

Installation: Removal of the Radio control center is required for installation. Vehicle Specific instructions are available on-line at www. voxxuniversity.com. After the components are removed, connect the following: 1. The navigation module can be located behind the radio or to either side. In some vehicles it may be located below the radio. We have included a extension Video (LVDS) cable for these cases. Determine your exact mounting location to insure you route your wires correctly. 2.

12. Nav activation switch: Included with this kit are two pieces of SWC replacement switch covers. These covers will fit some of the vehicle applications such as the Malibu. Since changes happen quickly at the OEM we suggest you compare the enclosed switch covers with the vehicle you are installing in. If they are the same size and shape they will work.

Navigation Interface Operation: CUE Equipped Vehicles: To change the OEM radio to Navigation Mode: • Press on an open area on the screen for 3 seconds. • Press the Nav switch if installed. • Press the SWC Nav switch for 3 or more seconds if installed. Exit Navigation by: • Pressing again on an open area of the screen for 3 seconds. • Press the Nav switch. • Press the SWC Nav switch for 3 or more seconds if installed.
