As shown in the diagram, fasten the speaker stand to the back of the speaker using the two included screws. When mounting, be sure to install properly and securely. • When placing the included SC-S301 speakers on a rack or shelf, fasten the included speaker stand securely using the screws included with the SC-S301 speakers (left and right).

ENGLISH Easy Setup and Operation Easy Setup and Operation Protector circuit This unit is equipped with a high-speed protection circuit. The purpose of this circuit is to protect the speakers under circumstances such as when the output of the power amplifier is inadvertently shortcircuited and a large current flows, when the temperature surrounding the unit becomes unusually high, or when the unit is used at high output over a long period which results in an extreme temperature rise.

Music downloaded as instructed on the site and written onto a CDR/CD-RW disc can be played on the S-301. • If music recorded on commercially available music CDs is converted on a computer into MP3 files using an MP3 encoder (conversion software), the data on a 12 cm CD is reduced into about 1/10 the amount of the original data.

Your mass storage device can be connected to the ADV-S301’s USB connector to play MP3, WMA and WAV files on the mass storage device. PORTABLE MASS STORAGE AUDIO LINE OUT Connect the ADV-S301 and portable audio player using a separately sold mini-stereo audio cable.

If this happens, switch to the “PCM” mode. Input mode when playing DTS sources • If DTS-compatible CDs are played in the “PCM” mode, noise is output because DTS playback is not possible. To play a DTS-compatible source, be sure to set the input mode to “AUTO” or “DTS”.
ENGLISH Basic Operation Basic Operation 2 Surround parameters e 2-channel mode settings PHONES When 2-channel signals are input, one of two playback modes can be selected and set according to the 2-channel mode setting, VIRTUAL 1 or VIRTUAL 2. (The VIRTUAL 1 mode is set by factory default.) VIRTUAL 1: In this mode, 2-channel sources are played with Dolby Pro Logic II Cinema processing. This mode is suited for playing movie sources recorded in Dolby Surround and regular stereo sources.

ENGLISH System Setup Setting “CHANNEL LEVEL” • Adjust so that the playback levels of the different channels are equal. • Make this adjustment by listening to the test tones output from the speakers at the listening position. Use the VOLUME control knob on the main unit or the VOLUME buttons on the remote control unit to adjust the volume of the test tone to a level at which it is easy to make this adjustment.

Utilice el control VOLUME de la unidad principal o los botones VOLUME del mando a distancia para ajustar el volumen del tono de prueba a un nivel que facilite el ajuste.
