UNIVERSALINSTALLATIONANDIMPORTCARINSTALLATION UNIVERSALINSTALLATIONANDIMPORTCARINSTALLATION This installation is designed for cars, trucks, vans, and boats that have an existing radio opening that is no larger than the size shown on the template provided (182mm wide x 53mm high). If the opening is smaller than required, you can use a file to enlarge it to match the template, using the slots on the template as a guide.
UNIVERSALINSTALLATIONANDIMPORTCARINSTALLATION A. Place radio in front of dashboard opening so that wiring can be brought through the mounting sleeve. B. Carefully follow the diagrams on pages 8 and 9 to wire the radio, making certain all connections are secure and insulated with wire nuts or electrical tape to insure proper operation of the unit. C. After completing the wiring, re-attach the front panel to the chassis and turn the unit on to confirm operation (ignition switch must be "on").

Continue rotation until the desired volume level is obtained. Rotate the knob fully counterclockwise to turn the unit off. 2 LEFT / RIGHT BALANCE CONTROL (PUSH) Push this knob inward and rotate it to the left or right to obtain the desired balance between left and right speakers. A detent click can be felt at the center of rotation.
7 MANUAL UP/DOWN TUNING ( / ) Pressing either side of the button for longer than 0.5 seconds will activate the Automatic Seek Tuning function in the selected direction (as indicated by “ U P” or “ d O” on the display panel). The radio will seek the next available station and stop on that frequency. 8 PRE-SET SCAN TUNING (PS) AUTO-STORE TUNING (AS) During radio operation, press this button to scan the 6 stations pre-set into the memories of the band in use.
OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS bn AUTO-RADIOTUNING(ART) By pressing this button and activating this function (indicated by “ART” on the display panel), the radio will automatically tune to a strong listenable station if the station it is tuned to becomes too weak and noisy for clear reception. co DISC EJECT ( cm cp DISC STANDBY SELECTOR (ST-BY) During disc play, press this button to temporarily stop play of the disc (the play arrow “ “ on the display panel will disappear). Press the button again to resume play of the disc from the point at which it was stopped. PROGRAMMEMORYSELECTION Up to 6 tracks can be programmed to be played in your selected order on this unit. The following procedure is used to program the order of track play: 1. Insert the disc into the unit to begin disc play. 2.

Do not press very hard on the panel to engage the mechanism when attaching the panel. No more than light to moderate pressure should be needed. 3.
