Installing the Configuration Software COMfortel Set
Requirements
– A PC with the following features:

Intel Pentium 1 GHz or compatible processor

Windows 7 32/64-bit, Windows 8/8.1 32/64-bit, Mac OS X (as of 10.5),
Linux (as of Kernel 2.6)

RAM memory: 256 MB, recommended 512 MB;
for Windows 7/Windows 8: 1 GB, for 64-bit, 2 GB

37 MB free hard disk space for COMfortel Set
쐽
85 MB free hard disk space for Java Runtime

Mouse or compatible pointing device

SVGA graphics card with a resolution of 1024 x 768 and 65536 colours
(16 bit)
– Installation file (comftelset.exe) stored on a storage medium (PC)
– Active connection of the PC to a PC-port on the PBX (see the instructions
of the PBX)
Note: You can find the required installation file on the Internet (see
www.auerswald.de/service).
1. Start the installation file (comftelset.exe) on the PC.
The installation software is started.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: Only COMfortel 1400: During the installation of the COMfortel Set
configuration software, standard announcements for different answering
machine functions are copied to the PC in three different languages (Ger-
man, English and Italian). These are announcements for call acceptance
STANDARD.wav, the announcement for remote access REMOTE.wav and
the announcement for message forwarding FORWARD.wav.
