Bei dem Gerät COMfortel 500 handelt es sich um ein analoges Telefon. Das Telefon ist für den Anschluss an einen internen analogen Port einer Tk-Anlage oder den externen analogen Anschluss eines Netzbetreibers bestimmt. Das Telefon ist schnurgebunden und für den Betrieb in geschlossenen, trockenen Räumen vorgesehen. Das Telefon ermöglicht das Telefonieren sowohl über den angeschlossenen Hörer als auch über den integrierten Lautsprecher (Freisprechen).
Inbetriebnahme Dieser Abschnitt beschreibt, wie Sie das Telefon aufstellen und anschließen. Außerdem erfahren Sie hier, welche Einstellungen für den Betrieb an einer Auerswald-Tk-Anlage notwendig sind. Hörer anschließen 1. Telefon in den Auslieferzustand zurücksetzen Bei Bedarf können Sie Ihr Telefon in den Auslieferzustand zurücksetzen. Dabei werden alle persönlichen Daten (z. B. Anruferliste) und alle von Ihnen vorgenommenen Einstellungen (z. B. Telefonbuch) gelöscht. 5. Drücken Sie die OK-Taste 6. Blättern Sie mit den Pfeiltasten zum gewünschten Klingelrhythmus. 7. Uhrzeit, Datum und Anzeige des Wochentags einstellen Sie können Uhrzeit und Datum für die Anzeige im Display einstellen. Möchten Sie den Wochentag nicht im Display anzeigen lassen, können Sie die Anzeige im Anschluss an die Eingabe ausschalten. Uhrzeit Datum ☞ Hinweis: Das eingestellte Jahr dient zur Berechnung des Wochentages. Die Nummer des Wochentags (z. B. 5 für Freitag) blinkt. 6. Wichtig: Geben Sie bei Betrieb an einer Tk-Anlage externe Rufnummern ggf. mit einer führenden Amtzugangsziffer (z. B. „0“) ein. 1. Preparation This section describes how to set up and connect the telephone. This includes the settings required to put an Auerswald PBX into operation. Connecting the Receiver 1. Insert the plug, as shown below in Fig. 3, the longer straight end of the spiral cord into the jacked marked with on the bottom of the telephone. 2. Setting the Time, Date and Weekday Display The number of the weekday (for example, 5 for Friday) is blinking. You can adjust the time and date shown on the display. If you do not want to have the weekday shown on the display, you can disable this setting. 6. If you would like to disable the display Time Date of the weekday, press one of the arrow keys . This deletes the number of the weekday. 7. Press the Exit key.

Telephoning This section describes how to take incoming calls and how to make calls yourself. In this section, you will also learn how to change the volume during a call as well as how to turn off the microphone and how to transmit to a PBX.

Switching between Receiver and Hands-free Operation If you would like to include other people present in the room in your telephone conversation, you can switch from receiver to hands-free operation. 1. Troubleshooting This section should assist you in resolving small disruptions yourself. The telephone is not working! 쐽 Make sure that the plug on the connectioncord and the headset spiral cable are correctly inserted into the sockets. 쐽 Connect another telephone to the telephone connection socket. If the problem continues despite using a different telephone, the problem may lie with your network provider or with the PBX in between.
