Install Plug In Connect Use Install and set up your August Smart Lock before configuring August Connect. Plug your August Connect into a power outlet within 15 feet of your door and wait for the flashing green light. On the Lock Settings screen in the August App, select “Connect to Wi-Fi” and follow the instructions. Operate your lock and view its status from anywhere you have an internet connection using the August App.
