TURKEY BURGERS
WITH ASIAN SLAW
ASIAN SLAW
2½ cups cabbage, shredded
¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
½ carrot, grated
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Salt & pepper, to taste
PATTY
1 pound ground turkey (85/15)
2 garlic cloves, minced 1-inch
piece ginger, grated
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons hoisin
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons sambal oelek
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Salt & pepper, to taste

ASIAN SLAW
MIX together the cabbage, onion, carrots, green onions, and cilantro
in a large bowl.
WHISK together the vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil,
mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
TOSS the vegetables with the vinegar dressing and let the Asian slaw
marinate for 30 minutes.
PATTY
MIX all of the patty ingredients together in a large bowl until
combined.
FORM the turkey mixture into 4 patties and set in the fridge to cool.
Preheat
PLACE the turkey patties in the preheated
COOK for 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
SERVE on buns with Asian slaw
