Cancelling a recording
 To cancel a recording for a program you are currently watching, press the button
 To cancel a program that has been booked, go in to Planner by pressing the
button, go into the
BOOKED section, highlight the program using the
and arrows and then press the
button on the MyStar remote control
 To cancel a recording in the TV Guide or iSearch Banner, access either the TV Guide or iSearch banner,
highlight the program and then press the
button
Stretch your recording time
Programs don’t always start and finish exactly as advertised and as the MyStar works purely on times - it doesn’t
recognise when a program has started/will finish late. To avoid missing the end or start of a program you may
want to add a buffer. You can do this on a individual program basis or set it as the default for all your recordings
(though this may increase the number of recording clashes if you do lots of recordings).

 To adjust the start/end times, press the or button on the MyStar remote control
 Simply highlight the program that has been set to record in Planner or the TV Guide using the
and arrows and then press – this will launch the ‘Adjust Record’ screen
 Then simply follow the on-screen prompts (see figure 16)
For example, if you would like to set a recording, and then extend the start and end times of the recording, you
could highlight the program in the TV Guide, press
to set the recording, and then press again to open
the ‘Adjust Record’ feature.

To add extra time to the start and end of all programs booked
to record, refer to page 27.
