Setting a manual recording
If you wish to record a period of time, cover several programs, or there is no program information for a particular
channel, you can use the Manual Record function.
This may be handy if you are going on holiday and the programming information isn’t yet available in the TV
Guide. You can set up recordings 3 months in advance using the Manual Record feature. To set up a Manual
Recording:
 Press the
button on the MyStar remote control, then use the and arrows to highlight ‘MyStar
Settings’ and press
 Use your and arrows to highlight ‘Manual Record’ and press
 You can now set up your manual recording by filling in the requested information, and by following the on-
screen prompts (see figure 17)

Note: Planner will automatically update and display the manual recording information.
