9.3 Special maintenance
Special maintenance consis of repairs needed due to Radio Remote Control failure, damage
or malfunction, and their aim is to reore the original usage and working conditions.
Special maintenance may be performed only by qualified Maintenance
Technicians, that is to say, by skilled technical Personnel with specific
competence and knowledge of Autec Radio Remote Control, belonging to the
Autec's service network, or explicitly authorised by Autec.
When performing special maintenance operations, the Inruction Manual for
the use and maintenance of the Autec Radio Remote Control mu be available
and undamaged in all its parts.
Only original Autec spare parts and materials provided by Autec shall be used
for the replacement of parts and/or for special maintenance operations.
When seeking assiance or replacement parts from Autec or its authorized diributors or
service centres, the following mu be provided:
- Radio Remote Control serial number
- Purchase date
- Description of the problem found
- Address and telephone number of the place where the Radio Remote Control is being used
(with the name of the Person to contact)
- Local Radio Remote Control supplier.
