In Normal Mode, the actual waveform is displayed on the screen when a test
component is connected to the oscilloscope. You can real-time monitor the signal
waveform of sensors in the normal mode.
NOTE
The oscilloscope is required to be connected in the normal mode.
In Demo Mode, a demo waveform is displayed on the screen. The sine wave or
square wave can also be displayed if you do not connect with the oscilloscope. The
user can use this mode to familiarize him or herself with the functions of the
oscilloscope.
The normal mode or demo mode can be selected with any one of these three views
(oscilloscope view/XY view/spectrum view) at the same time to meet different signal
display needs.
In the Oscilloscope View, the waveform shows how a signal varies with time in a
graphical way.
In the XY View, the waveform shows the relationships between periodic signals,
displaying a graph of one channel against another.
