Software Update Instructions for Diaglink Register the Tool: 1. Please go to Autel website www.autel.com , click Register->Create an Autel ID to create your own ID first. If you have created Autel ID before, just log in with your own ID directly. 2. Input the required information, click Create an Autel ID to go ahead.
3. After creating a new Autel ID, go back to the Home page and Sign in with your Autel ID and password. You will see the following pages.
4. Please select Diaglink, fill in the Serial No. and Register Password to register this scanner to your Autel ID. Note: Please make sure that you put the right serial number and register password. You can check the serial No. from the back of the scanner and also you can find them from the scanner itself, open this scanner, go to Setup->About to check them. If there is no way to check the register password from the scanner, please contact us directly to check the register password for you. 5.
6. Install the PC Suite on a Windows computer that can get Internet access. Update Procedure Note: You can choose to connect DiagLink to your PC via USB cable or use card reader/adapter to load the SD card to update your device.To ensure the updating process runs smoothly, we highly suggest you to use Card Reader to load the SD card to do the updating, instead of USB cable. 1. Please connect your Diaglink to your PC via SD card or USB cable, Diaglink will be booted up.
2. Run the Maxi PC suite and it will automatically recognize the device to show the following updating windows. Note: You can FREE get one vehicle make software as your choice at the first time. And if you need to download other vehicle make software, you need to purchase it one by one. Each vehicle software will cost USD 10. 3. Diaglink provides free service_OBDII software at free. Click Update to download it.
4. Scroll down the bar to select one vehicle make you need most, then click Free get to download the vehicle software.
5. Click Installed, you can check what software you have installed in your device. 6. If you want to download other car makes, please click Purchase button, it will guide you go to http://pro.auteltech.com/ to purchase it from Autel website.
Note: Before purchasing, please download the first free software via PC suite, otherwise you will lose access to the free vehicle software.
