Number of Samples
This button allows you to set the maximum number of samples that will be captured
by each channel. The sampling rate of current time base can be adjusted by
changing the number of samples. Review the sampling interval, sampling rate, and
sample size in the
Parameter and Help sheet.
Tap the minus or plus icon to adjust the number of samples.
Auto Scale
Use the Auto Scale button to trigger the device to automatically analyze the signal
of the opened channel, and automatically set the appropriate amplitude and time
base range to display the signal correctly. In auto scale setting, the time base is only
valid for periodic signals.
7.1.5.2 Main View Section
Up to four traces, along with digital readouts of current signal values, signal status
and triggering conditions, can be displayed simultaneously on the main view section
screen.
Each trace has two control features, X-axis and Y-axis, which enable you to adjust
the oscilloscope settings to suit the particular test measurement. If multiple traces
are displayed at the same time, the Y-axis for each trace is adjusted separately while
the X-axis is the same for all traces.
Y-axis the voltage level is recorded on the vertical. It displays on the left side of
the screen.
X-axis time is presented on the horizontal line. It is shown along the bottom of
the screen.
Measurement Overrange Indicator
When the amplitude exceeds the measurement input range, a red overrange
indicator with the message "overrange" is displayed in the top left corner of the
screen. Exceeding the common-mode input range may result in inaccurate
measurements and can lead to severe signal distortion.
