Testing Procedures
The following section describes how to use the multimeter. The testing procedures
are the same for each measurement type.
The following directions are for measuring AC voltage.
To measure AC voltage
1. Tap the Measurement Setting button in the lower left corner of the screen to
open the setting dialog box. Select AC voltage in the dialog box.
2. Set the proper amplitude value in the Amplitude Setting menu in the same
dialog box.
3. Connect the supplied multimeter test lead to the VCMI multimeter jacks. Insert
the multimeter probe into the test lead.
4. Hold the probes to the correct points of the circuit.
5. Tap the Start button on the upper left corner of the screen to start the
multimeter. The voltage displays onscreen.
Note
Use the optional current clamp connected to the input channel A when measuring
currents. Use the supplied multimeter probes to connect with the multimeter jacks
for other measurement types.
