Important Safety Information

• CAUTION - Before driving, ensure that the hood shield is properly secured to vehicle.

• Do not use automatic “brush-style” car washes.

• Do not use cleaning solvents of any kind.

• Periodically check all components for tightness.

Preparation Before Painting / Installation

• A trial fit is recommended to ensure proper positioning and fit.

• Check fit of parts before painting as we will not accept the return of modified or painted parts.

• Wash and dry your vehicle to remove any debris and/or dirt from the installation area.

Locate (4) square holes on underside of hood. Clean this area to

remove any dust or debris.

Installation Steps NOTE: Actual application may vary slightly from drawings. Press (4) hood inserts into the (4) square holes. 3 For applications with tape, expose 2” (5 cm) of tape liner from each end of the flanges on the hood shield. 4 Align Hood Shield with holes in hood. Using a phillips screwdriver, install (2) center screws. Repeat for remaining (2) holes. If applicable, remove remaining tape liner. 6 5 hood insert hood shield grommet screw Do not overtighten Install (4) bump ons.

Étapes d’installation REMARQUE : La méthode d’application peut être légèrement différente de celle représentée par les illustrations. Enfoncer les (4) inserts de capot dans les (4) trous carrés. 3 Pour les applications avec de l’adhésif, décoller 5 cm (2 po) de protection d’adhésif de chacun des rebords du pare-insectes. 4 À l’aide d’un tournevis cruciforme, installer les (2) vis centrales. Répéter l’opération pour les (2) trous restants. Le cas échéant, retirer la protection d’adhésif restante.

Pasos de instalación NOTA: El uso real puede variar levemente de ilustraciones. Coloque (4) apliques para capó en los (4) orificios cuadrados. 3 Para las colocaciones con cinta, exponga 2” (5 cm) de cinta protectora en cada extremo de los rebordes de la cubierta para capó. 4 Alinee los orificios de la cubierta para capó con los orificios en el capó. Con un destornillador Phillips, coloque (2) tornillos centrales. Repita el procedimiento para los (2) orificios restantes.
