Apply Changes to All Lightscape
Mater ials—
Determines w hether or not the
changes you make in this dialog are applied to
every Lightscape Radiosity material. Default=off.
Disable R adiosi ty Determines w hether or
not the r adiosity is calculated. This option
provides a quick way to see the effect of the
Lightscape-specific illumination. Default-off.
Base MaterialDisplaysthebase3dsMaxmaterial
to which the radiosity illumination is applied.
(The base material displays on the object whi le
theLightscapeRadiositymaterialaddsradiosity
effects.) Use this button to change the base
mater ial on the object.

Ink ’n Paint
The Ink ’n Paint m aterial creates cartoon effects.
Rather than the three-dimensional, realistic effect
most other materials provide, Ink ’n Paint provides
flat shading with “in ked” borders.

Because Ink ’n Paint is a mater ial, you can create
a scene that combines 3D-shaded objects with
flat-shaded cartoon objects.
